NatureYoga

Nature Yoga kids classes has found a NEW HOME in the Mt Airy neighborhood! Music with Gina

Music With Gina is a class designed for babies/toddlers (ages 6mo to 3yrs) and caregivers. The intention for each class is to allow your little one the freedom to express themselves in a positive and compassionate setting through the use of movement,playing,and singing. Music classes are meant to enrich,enliven,and entertain your little ones! it’s just fun! Sprouts Music Classes

Sing,stomp,swing,sway:this class for little ones and their grown-ups explores music from many musical traditions from Raffi to Bob Marley,from Eensy Weensy Spider to Peace Salaam Shalom. We play instruments from many parts of the world. The tempo of this class follows the needs of your little one,each moment tailor-made to fit the little minds that ask questions and make connections;growing bodies that wander,jump,play and rest;and souls that search for songs and music to express their spirit. Together we create a musical community for our mind,body and soul! Cloth Diaper Workshop

This workshop is intended to demystify and simplify cloth diapering for parents interested in investigating them as an option for their child. Participants will discuss why it can be an environmentally sound and cost effective option for families. The workshop will include information about how to get started with cloth diapering,the range of products that are available,and how to choose and care for these products. Product samples will be available to experience firsthand so that participants can make an informed decision. FREE

Babywearing Basics Workshop

Are you interested in Babywearing,but don’t know where to start? Do you want to wear your baby,but are overwhelmed by the vast array of carrier choices? This workshop will introduce new and expectant parents to all things Babywearing! Participants will learn the benefits of wearing your baby,review carrier types (buckle,mai tei,sling,ring sling,stretchy wrap,woven wrap),and learn about Babywearing safety. Product samples will be available to try on and play with so that participants can make an informed decision about which carrier is best for their family’s Babywearing experience. Workshop facilitator is Lizzy Russinko,a local mom,passionate Babywearing educator,and author of the blog,Where We Where:A Collection of Babywearing Stories, http://wherewewear.wordpress.com/. New Moms Group

Recommended for new mom’s and their babies,this informal group is designed for new moms and babies to meet and share with one another thorough the beautiful and often times challenging transition into parenthood. This group meets Wednesdays at 10:30 AM and is free.

Vaccine  Workshop

A two hour research-based workshop that empowers parents to make vaccine choices that are right for their family,without promoting a specific vaccine choice.  Including an introduction to the immune system,a vaccine by vaccine review and answers to the following questions:

 Are all the vaccines on the CDC schedule necessary for all children?

 When is the best time to vaccinate your child?

 How can you make your child less susceptible to infection?
