Cloth Diaper Workshop
This Cloth Diapering 101 workshop is intended to demystify and simplify cloth diapering for parents interested in investigating them as an option for their child. Participants will discuss why it can be an environmentally sound and cost effective option for families. The workshop will include information about how to get started with cloth diapering, the range of products that are available, and how to choose and care for these products. Cloth and Carrier Help
Have questions about your carrier? Preparing for a new baby and want to try on a new carrier or two? Do you need help narrowing down your cloth diaper choices? Visit our store calendar to find a time that’s right for you.
No appointment is needed but we ask that you show up 30 minutes before the end of the scheduled time to begin a consult. Please understand that we need to limit our time with each client to about 30 minutes.
Please note that if someone is already having a consult, you may need to wait a little while for our associates to help you. To make it easy, we have restrooms, changing areas, play areas, and comfy spots for feeding baby.
New Baby Meetup
Wednesdays: 10:00 am at Lovett (Library) Park
Recommended for new parents and their babies, this informal group is designed for new parents and babies to meet and share with one another thorough the beautiful and often times challenging transition into parenthood. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required but please check Facebook for any possible last minute cancellations. NOTE: social distancing and masks required. Please bring your own blankets and whatever else you need to safely meet while staying apart.
Personal Baby Registry Consultation
Do you need help with creating your baby registry? Would you like to discuss and see our products in person? Meet with one of our trained staff for a personal appointment and get help navigating what is really needed, and why you might choose natural products. We are here to help you understand the options and get you started! The purpose of this appointment is to create a baby registry with The Nesting House. Please come prepared to add products to your baby registry! This is a FREE service. Please register at thenestinghouse.eventbrite.com. Infant/Child CPR & First Aid
Child/Infant CPR,AED, and Choking Non-Certification Class
This dynamic course teaches lay-rescuer skills in CPR; AED use; and relief of choking in children, and infants. The course uses the research-proven practice-while-watching format. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements, and is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, school groups and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. You will be practicing skills that may require you to work on your hands and knees.
Participants will not receive a certification card (please see below for inquiry for certification).
This course is 2 hours long.

Payments are non-refundable, however, you can apply payment to a future class.
Minimum of 2 students required to proceed with a class.
Maximum of 6 students per class.
Participants interested in obtaining a 2 year American Heart Association CPR and/or First Aid Certification card can be accommodated – total price for this class is $65 and is an additional 2 hours in length.

Music with Gina (ages 6 months to 3 years)
Tuesdays: 9:30 and 10:30 at at Summit Presbyterian Church at 6757 Greene St (around the corner from the store)
Music With Gina is a class designed for babies/toddlers (ages 6 months to 3 years) and caregivers. The intention for each class is to allow your little one the freedom to express themselves in a positive and compassionate setting through the use of movement, playing and singing. Fee: $12 drop-in, or buy 10 classes for $100.00. Class cards can be used for any Music With Gina classes. Fee paid to instructor.
