preparing your items

To help our buyers work efficiently through an increasing volume of drops, please take these steps to prepare your bag for selling to us:

✓ 50 items max

✓ items are freshly laundered

✓ items are laid flat or neatly folded

✓ items are turned right side out

✓ sets & outfits are placed together

✓ everything has all pieces and parts

✓ there are no items from the “do not buy” list

✓ items are free of strong fragrance

✓ the cat has not napped on this drop

items we do not buy

We do not buy the following items. Our donation partner also cannot take them, so please do not include them in your drop. Thank you!

× items with noticeable staining or holes

× items that are misshapen or overworn

× plush toys

× plastic toys in less than excellent shape

× plastic toys & books with characters

× polyester linens

× plastic cups & bottles

× breast pumps, nursing pillows, bottle warmers, sterilizers & crib bumpers

selling times & limits

We offer on-the-spot buying every day from 10am to 4pm. During these hours, we will process your bag while you wait, and you’ll take any leftovers with you.

If you cannot wait or need to drop off between 4 and 6pm, your bag will be processed within 4 days and any leftovers will be donated.

Your household can sell up to 50 items per drop, once every 7 days.

payment methods

We pay 50% of our selling price in store credit or 40% in PayPal.

If we price a pair of shoes at $10, you earn $5 in credit or $4 in PayPal.

Store credit is added to your account as soon as we process your bag. PayPal payouts are sent out twice a week.

buying seasons

We buy fall and winter items at full value between July and January. We buy spring and summer items at full value between February and June. If you want to sell out-of-season items, we will buy them for $1 and store them until they are in-season.

avoiding landfill

We may still buy items that need a quick fix or wipe down. We’ll buy them at full value with a $1 extra care fee deducted.

We may also rescue items that need a lot of work to make them sellable, like stain treatment or sewing patches. We do not pay for these and they are noted on your receipt as “rescue items.”

consignment program

for large items

please call ahead

(215) 438-1600

  • Call us the morning you plan to bring a large item, so we can tell you if it’s something we consign, and if we currently have space to take a look at it.
  • We consign items that are between the size of a bouncer and a bassinet, or that retail for more than $75. We do not have space to consign full sized furniture.
  • We typically price consigned items at ⅓ of current retail and may adjust up or down based on condition, demand, or brand.
