gently used pricing guide

We consider three factors when pricing gently used items.

quality

(brand, construction, lifespan)

condition

(visual and functional)

sellability

(size, age, trends)

This approach keeps our gently used section fairly and consistently priced for both sellers and shoppers. Sellers earn 50% of our selling prices in store credit or 40% in PayPal.

standard brands

Brands like Carter's, Cat & Jack, H&M or Old Navy have the shortest lifespan of the brands we buy. For this reason we purchase them in great-to-excellent condition only.

  • $3-5 for tees, leggings, bike shorts, simple sweats
  • $4-8 for shorts, joggers, pants, denim, dresses, button downs, blouses, sweaters, sweatshirts, PJs
  • $7-12 for outerwear, shoes

mid-range brands

Brands like Gap, Primary, Lands End, Zara, Columbia, Kate Quinn, See Kai Run, Keen, or Stride Rite will generally last through a few children. We buy these brands in good-to-excellent condition.

  • $4-12 for tees, leggings, bike shorts, simple sweats
  • $7-18 for shorts, joggers, pants, denim, dresses, button downs, blouses, sweaters, sweatshirts, PJs
  • $8-22 for outerwear, shoes

extra sweet brands

Brands like Mini Boden, Hannah Andersson, Crewcuts, REI, The North Face, Nike, or Patagonia are made to go round and round. We will consider these brands in fair-to-excellent condition.

  • $5-16 for tees, leggings, bike shorts, simple sweats
  • $8-24 for shorts, joggers, pants, denim, dresses, button downs, blouses, sweaters, sweatshirts, PJs
  • $12-40 - outerwear, shoes

pregnancy & nursing wear

We mostly buy recently manufactured clothing in great-to-excellent condition. We buy simple, stylish everyday wear in comfy cuts and fabrics.

consigned items

We generally consign items at 1/3 of their current retail price and may adjust up or down based on quality, condition, or sellability.

We pay 50% of our selling price in store credit or 40% in PayPal for most items. There are also a handful of items we source for our Circular Registry Program that we pay out at 65%.
