payment rates & methods

earn 50% of our selling price in store credit or 40% in paypal for most items
If we price a pair of shoes $15, you earn $7.50 in credit or $6 in PayPal. Store credit is added to your account as soon as we process your items. PayPal payouts are sent out twice a week.
we pay 65% for baby gear in excellent condition!
Bring your high value items to the store, or see if you are eligible for a gear pick up. Take a look at what qualifies for a higher pay out by visiting our gear pick up page.
how we price items
Items are generally priced between 1/3 and 1/2 of their current retail value. Sellers earn 50% of our selling price in store credit or 40% in PayPal for most items. Learn more about how we price items with our Pricing Guide.

buying seasons
We buy fall and winter items at full value between July and January. We buy spring and summer items at full value between February and June. If you want to sell out-of-season items, we will buy them for $1 and store them until they are in-season.

avoiding landfill
We may still buy items that need a quick fix or wipe down. We’ll buy them at full value with $2 deducted from your pay out.
We may also take items that need work to make them sellable, like adding a button or patching a hole. These are passed on to our rescue team and noted on your receipt as “rescue items.”
